Manca pochissimo, sabato 08 aprile si terrà il secondo WordCamp Torino. Ecco tutto quello che devi sapere.

 

LOCATION

WordCamp Torino si svolge presso Toolbox Coworking.

COME RAGGIUNGERCI:

La location è facilmente raggiungibile con i mezzi pubblici, taxi, bike sharing, car sharing. C’è un parcheggio a pagamento (strisce blu, sottozona C2, 1,50 all’ora, conviene comprare ticket giornaliero dai tabaccai).

TRENI E METROPOLITANA:
sia la stazione ferroviaria di Porta Susa che quella di Porta Nuova sono collegate, tramite metropolitana con la fermata DANTE, la più vicina a Toolbox.

AUTOBUS e TRAM:
il tram n.4 e l’autobus n.42 sono i mezzi più comodi per raggiungere Toolbox. Per entrambi la fermata è OSPEDALE MAURIZIANO.
Se provenite invece dalla Stazione Lingotto potete prendere indifferentemente gli autobus n. 14 o 63 e scendere alla fermata OSPEDALE MAURIZIANO.
I biglietti per autobus, tram e metropolitana (€ 1,50 – validità 90 minuti) possono essere acquistati in tutte le stazioni della metro, nelle tabaccherie e dai giornalai ed in tutte le colonnine dei parcometri disseminate per la città.

COLLEGAMENTO CON AEROPORTO:
la linea ferroviaria sfmA Torino – Aeroporto – Ceres, gestita da GTT, collega la città con l’Aeroporto Internazionale di Caselle in soli 19 minuti. Una volta giunti alla Stazione Dora di Torino potrete raggiungere Toolbox prendendo l’autobus n.11 fino alla fermata ARCIVESCOVADO e poi il tram n.4 fino alla fermata OSPEDALE MAURIZIANO.

CAR SHARING:
A Torino sono disponibili i servizi di Enjoy e Car2Go.

BIKE SHARING:
In diversi punti della città potete trovare le bici del servizio di bike sharing ToBike, gestito dal Comune di Torino. La location dell’evento, Toolbox Coworking, dispone di una comodissima postazione bike sharing (la #104 – Mauriziano 1).

 

WI-FI

Il Wi-Fi gratuito sarà disponibile in tutta la struttura.

 

ACCESSIBILITÀ

L’organizzazione del WordCamp Torino 2017 ha lavorato sodo perché questo evento sia accessibile per chiunque voglia partecipare. Qui puoi trovare tutte le informazioni circa Accessibilità e Inclusione.

CONTRIBUTOR DAY

Se parteciperai al Contributor Day di venerdì 7 aprile, la registrazione aprirà alle ore 10:00.
Qui puoi trovare tutte le informazioni su cosa è un Contributor Day, consigli per i contributor alle prime armi e cosa devi portare per contribuire al progetto open-source WordPress.org.
Durante la giornata di venerdì ci saranno dei coffee break e pranzeremo insieme.

 

CONFERENZA

REGISTRAZIONE:
Sabato la registrazione aprirà alle 08:45 e continuerà fino alle 09:45.
Se arrivi dopo le 09:45 ci sarà un volontario (li riconosci dalla maglietta nera con scritto STAFF) che effettuerà la registrazione per te: potrebbe non essere al bancone, ma sarà sicuramente nella hall di Toolbox.

PROGRAMMA:
iniziamo alle 09:45 con il discorso di benvenuto durante il quale leggeremo il codice di condotta, ringrazieremo le tante persone che ci hanno aiutati e daremo informazioni pratiche sulla giornata.
L’agenda completa si trova nella pagina schedule, puoi fare click sui titoli dei talk per avere maggiori informazioni su sessioni e relatori.
Le sessioni avvengono a porte chiuse per non disturbare speaker e uditori: durante le domande verranno aperte le porte per permettere a chi vuole muoversi da una stanza all’altro di farlo comodamente (sono adiacenti).
La chiusura della giornata è prevista intorno alle 18:30.

COFFEE BREAK E PRANZO:
da Toolbox è a disposizione un distributore di acqua, naturale e frizzante, e ci saranno delle bottigliette d’acqua offerte da Lauretana.
Sono previsti due coffee break più ricchi, offerti da Giuliano Caffè, con snack e bevande, alle 11:30 e alle 16:45.
Alle 13:05 pranzeremo tutti insieme.

 

AFTER PARTY

Grazie ai nostri sponsor, anche WordCamp Torino si concluderà con un party.

Almost there! Saturday, April 8th, the second WordCamp Torino will open its doors. Here is all you have to know about it.

 

LOCATION

WordCamp Torino will take place at Toolbox Coworking.
Address: Via Agostino da Montefeltro 2, Turin.

HOW TO REACH THE VENUE

The location is easily accessible by public transport, taxi, bike sharing, car sharing. There is a paid parking (blue lines, sub C2, 1.50 per hour, you can buy a day ticket at any “Tabaccaio”, it’s cheaper).

TRAIN AND METRO:
both main railways, Porta Susa and Porta Nuova, are connected by metro with DANTE station, the closest to the Toolbox.

BUS and TRAMWAYS:
tramway n.4 and bus n.42 are the best way to reach Toolbox. For both the stop is OSPEDALE MAURIZIANO.
If you are coming from Stazione Lingotto you can take bus n. 14 or 63 and get off at OSPEDALE MAURIZIANO stop.
Bus, tram and metro tickets (€1,50 for 90 minutes) can be purchased at all metro stations, tobacco shop, newsstands and all parking meter columns situated around the city.

CONNECTION WITH AIRPORT:
the railway line SFMA Turin – Airport – Ceres, operated by GTT, connects the city with the Caselle International Airport in just 19 minutes. Once at the Torino Dora station, Toolbox can be reached by taking the bus n. 11 bus to the stop ARCIVESCOVADO and then the n. 4 tramway to the stop HOSPITAL MAURIZIANO.
For information on the connections with other neighboring airports (such as Malpensa) visit the SADEM website.

CAR SHARING:
Enjoy and Car2Go are available in Torino.

BIKE SHARING:
In several parts of the city you can find the bikes of ToBike, the local bike sharing service, run by the City of Turin. The location of the event, Toolbox Coworking, has a very comfortable bike sharing station (n. 104 – Mauriziano 1).

CONTRIBUTOR DAY

If you’ll participate at the Contributor Day, Friday April 7th, registration will open at 10am.
Here you can find all the information about the  Contributor Day, advice for new contributors and what you have to bring to help the open-source project WordPress.org.
There will be coffee breaks and we’ll have lunch togheter.

 

CONFERENCE:

REGISTRATION:
registration will open at 08:45am and continue until 09:45am. If you arrive after 09:45 there will be a volunteer (you recognize them by the word STAFF written on their black T-Shirts) that will register you: he may not be at the counter, but he will surely be in the Toolbox lobby.

SCHEDULE:
We start at 09:45am with a welcome speech during which we will read the Code of Conduct, we will thank the many people who have helped us and we will give practical information on the day.

The sessions will take place behind closed doors to avoid disturbing speakers and listeners: we will open the doors during Q&A to allow those who want to move from one room to another to do so comfortably (they are adjacent).
The closure of the day is scheduled for 6:30pm.

COFFEE BREAKS AND LUNCHES:
a water dispenser, with still and sparkling water, is always available at Toolbox and we will provide you with water bottles sponsored by Lauretana too.
There will be two coffee breaks sponsored by Giuliano Caffè, with snacks and soft drinks, at 11:30am and at 4:45pm.
At 1:05pm we’ll have lunch togheter.
